LOGAN PROPERTY RE-VALUATIONS COMPLETED

As part of the NJ state property re-valuation PILOT program, all 24 muncipalities in Gloucester County are participating in property re-valuations.  2012 was the final year of a three year phase-in period.
Each property in the Township has received a letter indicating the new assessed value for the property.  The letter also included an example of the 2013 taxes for the property.  It is ONLY AN EXAMPLE.  It assumes a tax levy increase for illustration purposes only.  The actual amount of the 2013 taxes for each property will not be determined until the local, school and county budgets have been passed.  That typically takes place by July and should be reflected in the August Tax bill.
It is important to understand that an increase in the assessed value of a property does not mean that the property taxes will increase.

What is revaluation?  Click HERE for information.
